Payphones & Submissions

Yes! We welcome contributions. Please refer to our Submission Help guides to learn how to participate.

Locations can be slightly inaccurate, especially in complex areas like airports, malls, or large government buildings. We rely on community reporting to refine these markers.

Ensure the phone is functional, get the address/coordinates, and note the provider.

  • Visit the Payphone Manager on PayFoneMap.com.
  • Click "Add new phone" and enter the details.
  • Including a photo helps us verify the submission faster.

We prefer website submissions, but we also accept reports via our Subreddit (r/PayFoneMap). Note: Reddit submissions must include a photo.

Maps & Website

This could be due to your connection, scheduled maintenance, or server issues. Check how to check our status for more info.

Report it using our Report a Booth tool so we can update the map. Providing a photo of the empty spot helps us confirm the removal.

Data collection varies by region. We cannot guarantee 100% coverage for every area, but we are constantly expanding with user help.

Always stay aware of your surroundings. Use well-lit booths, keep your call brief, and use hand sanitizer. For more tips, see our Safety Guide.

Report vandalism to local law enforcement or the phone operator. For your safety, do not use phones with exposed wires or broken receivers.

Help with Subreddit

You can post mapping data, new booth finds, photos, and project updates. Please keep discussions respectful and accurate.

Yes. As of August 14, 2025, clear photos are mandatory for all Reddit booth submissions. Anonymous website submissions are exempt.
